During the Missouri Southern vs. Fort Hays contest in 2022, Missouri Southern coach Atiba Bradley successfully challenged an important call on the field that decided the outcome of the game. The SkyCoach replay technology made it possible.

The Pearl-Cohn football team completed a perfect 15-0 season in 2023, which ended with a 36-27 victory over Upperman High in the Class 4A Tennessee State Championship.
