Covid-19 Preparedness: Allowing Fan Access to Video During Games

With all the talk of limiting the amount of fans at games due to Covid-19, we wanted you to rest assured that SkyCoach has a solution for you. All SkyCoach subscriptions include live access for fans at no additional cost. This functionality can be used to raise funds for the team as well as provide access to fans if they are not allowed at the games this fall.

There are many ways to provide live access to fans with the SkyCoach system. Below are a couple of scenarios that may match how you would like to use this functionality.

Scenario A – Separate Recording for Fans

You don’t want just anyone watching all your angles, especially your end zone view, but you do want fans to be able to see the game live or immediately following. In this scenario, you can setup SkyCoach for in-game use, using the SkyCoach network and your cameras. Then, you can have a separate person record the game using the SkyCoach cloud mode with an iPhone or iPad. Fans can watch this separate cloud recording remotely on their phones or computers using a view-only account from anywhere. If the person recording this separate copy has good internet using cellular or stadium WiFi then the fans will see the game live. If the filmer does not have good internet, then after the game the filmer can connect their iOS device to the internet and sync the game so that fans can view it.

Scenario B – Fans See What the Team Sees Just After Game

At the end of the game, sync your video with the SkyCoach Cloud. Fans can watch with the view-only account as soon as the game is synced.

How to Raise Money Using Either Scenario

The view-only account password can be changed as often as you like. Each week you can change the password and provide access to only those individuals that have paid. You could also get a company to sponsor viewership each week!
