#Quaranstream: Getting Video to your Coaches who are Quarantined

We have been asked this question a lot lately, “Can one of our coaches get video at a remote location during the game because our coach is in quarantine?” The answer is yes and all you need is an iPhone at the game to do it.

SkyCoach supports both cloud mode and host/client mode. Teams use the host/client mode with the SkyCoach network to push video around the stadium during the game. They can also use cloud mode and internet to push video to the SkyCoach servers so that they can be accessed over internet from anywhere.

Teams that want to do this should follow the steps outline below:

  1. Set up the local host/client system like they do every week.

  2. On an iPhone that has cellular or WiFi internet access and is not connected to the SkyCoach network, log in to SkyCoach, and make sure it is in cloud mode.

  3. Create a separate event with an obvious name like “Blue vs Green Cloud.”

  4. Open that event and record using the phone.

  5. The person at the remote location can watch on any iOS device or Windows/Mac computer. Make sure the device at the remote location is connected to the internet and that the SkyCoach App is in cloud mode.

This is just one of the many ways SkyCoach can be tailored to your unique situation
